I have spent the past five years working extensively with Evolution Power Tools, a market leader in multipurpose cutting technology. In a lighting/camera operator role, I have shot a diverse range of content aligned with strict corporate brand guidelines, including demonstrations, tutorials, product videos, and brand documentaries. I supported in-house director Paul Hunter in shaping and developing Evolution visual style, working with limited resources but continually improving the visual image quality and brand story telling. Whilst I’m one of many other freelance and in-house camera operators all with their own unique vision and visual style, the work has taken me to a variety of locations, from collaborating with Doug and the Artfully Rogue team in Arizona to capturing live footage at the NEC for the Makers Central event. I have also filmed on-site with skilled professionals from the building, joinery, and landscaping industries, as well as across Yorkshire and the UK—including Evolution’s dedicated studio in Sheffield.
