A social experiment unfolds on a remote and mysterious Danish island. For a group of 22 young people from six different cultures, it becomes a journey into the unknown as they unwittingly create their own micro-society under just three rules:
No violence.
No drugs.
No technology.
Leaving their ordinary lives behind are Marc, a self-described "lion" from Mallorca; Anders, a Danish boy with a knack for trouble; and Bianca, an unpredictable Austrian who has lost her way.
Accompanied by 19 others, the group knows little about what awaits them on this tiny island in the middle of the Kattegat Sea. Once a forest, it is now an eerie desert spanning only six kilometers across, inhabited by just 100 residents.
For the participants, it quickly becomes clear that this is no vacation but rather an inward journey—one that forces them, often uncomfortably, to confront situations and emotions they have never faced before.
Meanwhile, the adults supervising the experiment are strictly prohibited from interfering. The outcomes are being meticulously documented by two leading universities to inform educational policy across the EU. While objectivity is paramount, some youth workers believe the group's total freedom could devolve into chaos, echoing a "Lord of the Flies"-style revolt.
